Florida Medical Marijuana Cards in Miami-Dade!

The Coronavirus Quarantine & Medical Marijuana In Miami

medical maijuana doctor

At LifeCannMD, we have directly noticed that cannabis demand is on the rise amid the COVID-19 outbreak.  Quarantine is driving demand amidst the ongoing pandemic.  While we have closed our office location, Dr. Sende is still able to see new patients during home visits and re-certification patients by phone/video telemedicine.

Extended periods of social isolation and the lack of a 9-5pm schedule seem to be what is prompting patients with a desire & need for medical marijuana cards to reach out and schedule a new patient visit.  We have heard from a few of our cannabis patients that the stress alone has led to them reaching out to us.

Here are a few programs that we have made available for Miami-Dade and the surrounding areas.

  1. $199 New Patient Certification (for a limited time)
For a limited time our new patient certifications are discounted to $199 (normally $249) due to the economic situation during the coronavirus pandemic.
  1. House Visits for New Patient Medical Marijuana Cards (Miami-Dade)
From now until April 30, 2020, LifeCannMD is offering House Visits for Miami-Dade residents for only $50 extra in order to receive their State Issued Florida Medical Marijuana Card.  During the coronavirus pandemic, we will come to you if it is still allowed by the government.  You will still be responsible for the $249 New Patient Certification or $149 Re-Certification Fee for your Medical Marijuana Card plus the required $75 State Florida Registration Fee – just as you would if you came to the office.
  1. Telemedicine Appointments for Medical Marijuana Re-Certifications
The State of Florida has just announced that we are allowed to offer Telemedicine appointments via video conferencing or over the phone appointments for the re-certification of your medical marijuana card if you are a patient of Dr. Fernando Fandino-Sende.  If you are currently certified by another physician and you wish to transfer to LifeCannMD, please get in touch with our office about the transfer prior to scheduling a recertification.  We offer free transfers for those in need of a new doctor.

The process is easy:

Step 1: Call or Contact Us. Click Here to Get Started Now or call 1-833-543-3226

After we receive your information or your phone call, we’ll guide your process safely, securely, and with 100% confidentiality. Our friendly staff will listen to you describe your situation and take notes about how and why you may qualify for medical marijuana in the state of Florida. We’ll confirm that you’re a Florida resident or seasonal resident, and discuss the type of medical records you should request from your primary care physician.

Step 2: Office or In-home Visit with Dr. Fernando Fandiño-Sende. Once you have everything in order, it’s time to meet Dr. Fernando Fandino-Sende. You can do this at our clinic, which is conveniently located near downtown Miami. But, if you’re unable to come in for your visit, we can even set up a house call. As a certified cannabis doctor, Dr. Fernando Fandiño-Sende is qualified to make a professional recommendation that you receive your medical marijuana card from the state of Florida.

Step 3: Application Fee & Approval. After your meeting with the doctor, our patient care team will help you register with the Florida Department of Health to make sure that the process goes as smoothly as possible. You’ll need to have an approved passport-style photo of yourself, proof of residency, a $75 application fee, and a complete application, in which we can help you with. Once your application is approved, you’ll get your Florida medical marijuana card.

Enjoy visiting dispensaries, and stay in touch to get re-certified every 210 days (which is 30 weeks, or about seven months) so your card doesn’t expire.

Florida patients can access 70-day supplies of the medication with a single order.
