Welcome to LifeCannMD Medical Marijuana Doctors in Miami Florida. LifeCannMD is dedicated to the evaluation, education, and treatment of patients who qualify for Medical Marijuana. Scheduling a consultation with our courteous, experienced, and licensed staff is the first step towards a better you.
For our in-person new patient visit you will be evaluated by Dr. Fernando Fandiño-Sende, who is double board certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Sende will educate you about the benefits of medical marijuana according to your qualifying conditions.
The State of Florida requires two proofs for the evaluation. One: you need to have a proof of FL residency. This could be either a valid FL ID or two proofs of your residency. Two: you need to have a proof of your medical condition. This could be either medical records, a written diagnosis or medication you take with your name on it. If you do not have any proof of your condition Dr. Sende can exam you and write a diagnosis.
Same day approval: Once you have been evaluated by Dr. Sende our LifeCannMD team will assist you with every step of the registration process to register with the Medical Marijuana Use Registry. You will receive an approval email from the state, which allows you to be legally able to visit any of the state‘s dispensaries or call a medical marijuana treatment center to arrange for delivery the day you had your appointment.
By law, you have to be re-certified every 210 days by Dr. Sende. You will receive a three time 70 day supply of medical marijuana at a maximum daily dose.
In order to get your Florida medical marijuana card certification, you must have a valid medical cannabis doctor‘s recommendation from a licensed physician who has taken and passed the certification training class offered by the Florida Department of Health.
Follow-up appointments are also available for patients looking to update their files, request refills and renewals, and re-certify plans after the first seven months (210 days).
